Please notice that: 

1) Birkin 30/35/40 share the same size hardware.

2) Birkin 40 and HAC 40 has different hardware.

3) Gold and silver hardware has parted rivets, the black hardware kit has silver permanent rivets. But HAC 50 is different, HAC 50 gold/silver/black are all permanent rivets (see pictures).

4) Why black hardware use silver permanent rivets? Because you should cut off the rivets when you install it, the cross section is metal color, it is silver. Hermes orginal black hardware bag use silver permanence rivets too.

5) Black Birkin 25/30/35/40 use 1.2mm permanent rivets; Black HAC 40, Gold/silver/black HAC 50 use 2.0mm permanent rivets.

6) The rose gold hardware kit use gold permanent rivets.
