   1. About No.51 and No.88 welding wire

   1) Multi functionality

The No.51 welding wire and its flux 51-f can weld: gold silver, platinum, solid bass, red copper, iron, aluminum, , zinc alloy and so on together, it is almost an omnipotent welding wire. MUST work with its flux.

The No.88 welding wire and its flux 88-f can weld: Stainless steel, solid brass, red copper, iron, Nickle, chrome plating metal, Nickle plating meta and so on together, it is almost an omnipotent welding wire. MUST work with its flux.

   2) Low work temperature to protect lacquer

No.51 and No.88 is low temperature welding wire, weld temperature is only 179, that means you can simply use an electric iron to work with it. We advice torch, because it has high efficiency and larger work area than the electric iron tip. Lots of badges or brooches have baking lacquer on face, 179 work temperature will protect the lacquer well when you burn.

   3) Wettability

No.51 and No.88 has very good wettability when reach to 179, so it can flow into the contact area and weld them firmly.

   2. How to calculate and adjust the pulling strength?

The pulling strength needed for a daily used waist belt buckle is about 5kg (a small bag of flour), for some special careers (such as police, firefighter etc), the waist buckle should offer 20kg pulling strength.

The standard joint strength of No.51 and No.88 is 13kg/mm², for example, when weld a stud on your waist buckle, the welding area is about 16mm²(4mm x 4mm), then it can offer 4x4x13=208kg pulling strength theoretically, so you can adjust the size of welding area to adjust the pulling strength. If you only make a decoration women waist belt buckle, a small welding area is OK, if you weld a large special man used buckle, you can add the welding area to 64mm² (8mm x 8mm), then it can offer 8x8x13=832kg pulling strength.

A simply way to adjust the welding area is: rough the area you want to weld, scratch the surface layer of the area you want to welt and paint flux on.

   3. About 72% silver welding wire

The 72% silver welding wire contains 72% silver and 28% brass. It can weld brass, iron, steel, Nickle, zinc alloy, stainless steel, rare metals and so on, it is a truly multi function welding wire.

It has extremely wettability and standard joint strength is 48kg/mm², you even can welt the parts together without flux (anyhow we advice 51-f flux). But its working temperature is 650, must use a torch to welt it, and the baking lacquer will be broken, you should use the drop glue to repair it.
